The short list, released February 16, includes a wide range of Saskatchewan writers, several of whom have been mentioned on Latitude Drifts: Anne McDonald (To the Edge of the Sea); David Halstead (Dragonflies and Damselflies in the Hand); Larry Warwaruk (Bone Coulee); Don Kerr (Wind Thrashing Your Heart). (And several I've been to the Writers' Colony with: Art Slade, Bev Brenna, Allison Lohans... And more! Congrats to all!)
The awards gala will be held April 28, 2012, with writer Mark Abley as guest speaker.
