Victoria Park, Regina, SK: Anne McDonald, David Sealy and Steve Miller performed at the Saskatchewan Writers Guild's summer Words in the Park event on July 13. This outdoor reading is a great way to spend a lunch hour, and this week, even the mosquitoes and parking attendants behaved (no bites, no tickets).
Steve Miller is from Vancouver, where he's known for the cowboy, street and slam poetry he performs. Regular readers of this blog know
Anne McDonald, who read from her new novel
To the Edge of the Sea, and
Dave Sealy, who performed parts of his play
The Bob Shivery Show.
